Well, today is "jammie ride day" on our Advent Calendar! In case you are following along with us, this is my favorite activity!
For jammie rides, we put the kids in their jammies and send them off to bed a little bit early (since it's dark outside early and they are young, they don't know!) After about two minutes Bill and I storm back in and say/yell, "Jammie Ride!" Now Ike is an experienced jammie rider so he jumps out of bed and knows exactly what he's in for -- ice cream and perhaps a trip to Grandma's house! If you are more practical than we are, maybe you'll do hot chocolate this time of year:)
So this morning, Ike's calendar had no note, but just a treat:) We don't want to spoil the surprise!

Sunny, that would have been fun to have you ride along! We had a fabulous and very successful jammie ride!
