Kitty Says . . .

Today Kate started counting.

"Uno, doce . . . QUATRO!" (Pardon my Spanish spelling.)

~

Kitty found a bag of fruit snacks tucked away in the pantry and got really excited.

"What do you say?" I asked. I thought I was prompting for the magic word "please."

"BILL!" she exclaimed.

Hmmmmm

After returning from the hospital Isaac noticed that my tummy wasn't exactly flat.

"Mom?" he asked with wide eyed wonder. "Your tummy is growing again. Do you have another baby in your tummy?"

Yeah, that's a little motivation for that Ab Ripper X we have floating around here. Not anytime soon though . . .

Happy 2nd Birthday, Sweet Kate

Kate loves her new little brother, but she has no idea that we had to postpone her party (which would have been tonight) until tomorrow. We were a little tired tonight . . . and will probably be tired again tomorrow night:)

Happy Birthday, Kate. You are the sweetest little girl and I LOVE being your mommy!

*You love to play with little characters.
*You sit at your table and chatter with your toys.
*You push your favorite toys around in your buggy.
*You love to snuggle after your naps.
*You call jewelry "Gammas" because Grandma lets you play with her jewelry . . .
*You love your big brother and you guys take good care of each other.

There is a light!

Tomorrow morning we have an appointment at the hospital to be induced. I am completely ready to meet little Noah so this scheduling thing works out pretty well in my opinion. However, I've heard that the hospital only allows a certain amount of "inducing" and your appointment can be canceled if people come in who are actually in labor. Hopefully we get in and everything goes according to plan (which hasn't exactly been happening lately.)

40 Weeks!

We are officially forty weeks . . . and have yet to see baby:) I'm thinking he heard there were six more weeks of winter so he decided to stay put . . . Guess I can't blame him.

Lemongrass

We had time to stop into a magical little shop called "Lemongrass" this morning. Kate just couldn't stop saying, "Wow!" It's filled with lots of little gifts, candles, lotions, etc. We happened to find this little bottle of shampoo/body wash made from organic ingredients. We haven't used it yet, but it smells delightful.

Ingredient list: Organic rose hydrosol, extracts of organic strawberry, chamomile and cucumber, organic strawberry juice concentrate, organic strawberry flavor, vitamin E, coconut cleanser, extracts of organic vanilla, organic rosemary, organic oregano, organic thyme, organic goldenseal, organic lavender, and Japanese honey suckle.

Baby's Basket

My sweet father-in-law sent us a basket to put baby's foot prints on. Can't wait!

Organization does not make baby come out, but it keeps me busy . . .

Organization is not my strong point . . . being nine months pregnant helps a lot!

An Ike Post

A Baby Post

At thirty-eight weeks (Jan. 31, 2010)

Today is our first "due date" according to our first ultrasound. So far the day has been pretty uneventful as far as having a baby goes:) Guess baby doesn't know he's on a time schedule. Tomorrow is yet another doctor visit so we'll see if baby wants to come soon. Next due date is the 10th according to the second ultrasound. We'll see if little Noah wants to cooperate:) In the meantime, I'll just enjoy the calm before the storm:)

We have a name!

Noah Brayden Parramore. He's still snuggled in and not quite ready to come out. He has six days left to plump up . . . or thereabout. We're good and ready so any time he chooses to make an appearance is fine by me!

Noah means "rest, comfort." Resting is not something we anticipate doing much right off:) We do know, however, that despite all the difficulties of being blessed with a baby, they DO bring rest to your heart and comfort to your soul.

Can't wait to meet you, little Noah!
