Children's Poem

Here is what we are memorizing this week:

Once I saw a little bird

Come hop, hop, hop;

So I cried, "Little bird,

Will you stop, stop, stop?"

And was going to the window

To say "How do you do?"

But he shook his little tail

And far away he flew.

I suggest being creative and adding motions to this poem (if there is movement, the boys will participate)! Repeat five times a day and during chore time! Ike even says his poems in the grocery store to keep himself from getting bored:)
